Homework help your kid will actually open.
Wiz gives hints instead of answers, then turns every topic into a quick quest with XP, stars, streaks and magic pets to collect. Math, science, English and social studies.

A recipe uses 3 cups of flour for 12 cookies. How much flour do you need for 20 cookies?
- 1
Hint: How much flour goes into one cookie?
How a homework question goes
- 1
Snap it or type it
A photo of the worksheet or the question typed out. Wiz works out what it is asking.
- 2
Hint by hint
Each problem becomes small steps. A nudge comes first; the full step only when your kid asks.
- 3
Lock it in
One tap turns the topic into a five-question quest with instant, explained feedback.
Every subject is a game mode
Each topic for your kid’s grade is a level. Five quick questions earn up to three stars, and 80% correct earns the crown. Homework help, a writing coach, streaks and badges come with it.
Math

Science

Hatch magic familiars
Every wizard needs a pet. Hit the daily goal, crown a topic or level up to earn an egg. 24 familiars to find, from a tiny frog to a legendary dragon, and your favorite rides along as your buddy.
For parents: eggs are earned by learning only. There is nothing to buy and no ads, ever.
Built for kids. Run by parents.
Here is exactly how StudyWiz keeps your family in charge.
- You set it up
- You create the account and add each kid with just a nickname and grade. Kids never enter an email or their real name.
- You see everything
- Every question, practice score and writing review shows up in your dashboard, with strong and weak topics for each kid.
- Safety built in
- Wiz only helps with schoolwork. If a message suggests your kid is upset or unsafe, Wiz points them to a trusted adult and you get a flag.
- No ads, ever
- We do not show ads, sell data or use your kid’s work to train AI. Rewards are earned by learning, never sold. Homework photos are read once and never stored.
- A PIN for grown-ups
- Purchases and settings sit behind your parent PIN, with a monthly spending limit you control.
- Delete anytime
- Download or permanently delete your family’s data in two clicks. Built to follow the US children’s privacy law (COPPA).

Questions parents ask
What are familiars?
Collectible magic pets. Kids earn an egg for hitting their daily goal, crowning a topic or leveling up, and each egg hatches one of 24 familiars. Eggs can never be bought, so the only way to get one is to learn.
Does it just give my kid the answers?
No. Wiz breaks each problem into steps and gives a hint before each one. The worked step and final answer are there when your kid is truly stuck, because staring at a problem at 10pm doesn’t help anyone either.
What ages is it for?
Grades 6, 7 and 8, roughly ages 11 to 14. Topics follow Common Core for math and English, NGSS for science and the C3 Framework for social studies.
Is it safe for kids under 13?
Yes. A parent creates the account and gives consent, kids only use a nickname, and there are no ads, chat with strangers or public profiles. Read our children’s privacy notice for the details.
Can more than one kid use it?
Up to 4 kids per family, each with their own profile, streak and progress. Plus covers all of them.
Which Plus plan should I pick?
We recommend 12 months. It works out to $5 a month, half the monthly price, covers every kid in the family and starts with a 7-day free trial. The 3 and 6 month plans are there if you only need help for part of the school year.
How do I cancel Plus?
From Billing in your parent area, any time. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for.
What if the AI makes a mistake?
It can happen, especially with tricky word problems. Every answer shows its steps so your kid can check the reasoning, and we encourage them to ask a follow-up if something looks off.
